V Series Season Two Episode Three: Laid Bare Analysis

Hello V Series fans,

Here I am with my V Series episode Three: Laid Bare exposition and analysis. I hope you all enjoy!

Laid Bare starts off where Serpents Tooth ended. Erica Evans car is upturned, and we see her bloodied up and suspended by her seat belt, she comes round with a start, and notices that Agent Malik is gone, so panics somewhat, trying to get unbuckled. Malik appears and grabs at her throat; Erica manages to pull away and scrambles out of the car,

Malik jumps over the car and proceeds to beat Erica up.

I like to see how much more agile Visitors are, and this fight sequence shows that Malik is stronger. When Erica is on the floor panting in agony, Malik shows her fangs, I think personally she was going to eat (Or take a good chunk out of) Erica. While Malik is slightly off guard, Erica launches at her and slams her into a tree, rendering Malik unconscious.

Erica hears a car fast approaching, so, in agony, yelling out, hides behind her wreck of a car. Thankfully it is Jack and Hobbes; Father Jack had been given the warning by Chad Decker about Malik so was concerned, for good reason about Erica. Jack and Hobbes rush to Erica, both Men seem very concerned, especially Jack. It seems that both Hobbes and Jack like Erica a little more than just friends. Or maybe that’s just me?

Hobbes asks her what happened, Erica simply replies: “Malik’s a Visitor” Both Jack and Hobbes look a little shocked. I thought Malik was a Visitor from episode one, I thought she seemed a little off, almost over compensating, but I love that she totally got away with it even under Erica’s nose. Hobbes heads over to Malik and pulls his gun ready to dispose of her. But Erica yells for him to stop. She wants answers. She tells him to take Malik to his place, and she would meet him there.

Father Jack is worried about her explaining ‘this’ to the FBI so Hobbes the fast thinker that he is, shoots out the two back Wheels, and rips an arm from Erica’s jumper (That fell out of the boot) he stuffs it into the Petrol Tank and sets it alight. I have had a few people ask me why Erica did not know what Hobbes was doing, my response was: That Erica just had a car accident, and she is bleeding from her head. I could not think straight when I had my car accident, it took Munchy to tell me to call my Mom so my Dad could call the RAC for me, and I wasn’t bleeding out, I was just in shock.

On the Mothership, Lisa is woken by her ‘real’ skin, moving under her Human skin, we see the colour of her scales under the Human skin, rippling up her exposed body. She is shocked by this; it is clear on her features. Anna (Morena Baccarin) is (creepily) there watching her from the sidelines. Anna sits beside her Daughter, and tells her that it is Lisa’s breeding skin growing.

“Your body is preparing you for your Birthright to be Queen, it’s your breeding skin it’s begun to grow, over the next few month as it forms you will become fertile, you’ll undergo many changes, Changes that will permit our race to endure…” Lisa asks what Changes?

Anna continues: “The emergence of your true nature, you’re primal instinct. It happened to me and My Mother helped me through it. And before she died I promised her that I would mold you into a great leader. I’ll teach you to lead in my own image… You’ll become just like me”

Anna goes to her Mother’s ‘cell’ to gloat. This cell is simulating the Home World, it is a stark difference to the rest of the Mothership, it seems far more organic, with vegetation, and steam billowing around Mother and Daughter. Telling her that Lisa’s breading skin is growing, and everything is going to plan. Diana tells Anna that she should be concerned about the warning she gave, that Lisa would betray her. Deposed Queen Diana (Jane Badler) reminds Anna that she (Anna) had first betrayed her Mother when her breeding skin began to grow. Anna retorts that she did it because her Mother was weak; she was doing what she saw as the best for their species. Anna is adamant that Lisa will not betray her, “Because I will do for her what you never did for me, teach her to rule, prepare her for what is to come” Anna tells her, she seems resentful; almost that she feels her mother did not nurture her enough. It seems to me that Anna wants to be different with Lisa, though she did not bargain on Lisa becoming emotional, and becoming Fifth Column… (Shhh don’t tell Anna). Diana warns Anna to watch her back, a lesson she had to learn.

Back on Earth, there are now Fire Engines, Police, FBI and an Ambulance on the scene, Kendrick is really concerned for Erica, and tells her she needs to go home and not worry about Malik, he said it is a miracle she’s alive! Some would wonder why Erica wasn’t suspected, the second agent/partner who has gone missing, but Malik messed her up pretty good, so that and Hobbes cover story worked a charm.

Back on the Mothership Marcus gives Anna the bad news about Malik. He tells her that the FBI suspects Fifth Column. Anna wants Marcus to take Trackers to cover up everything she has been doing. Find and dispose of any damning evidence.
Marcus asks her: “What about the Fifth Column? Finding those who took her?” Anna assures him she has it under control. Marcus is Anna’s right hand man!

Anna then goes on to contact Ryan, she shows him the baby, she seems settled. Well Blissed should I say. She tells Ryan that she will continue to help the baby as long as he stands up to his end. She tells him of Malik, and she wants names by the evening when the Baby will next need Bliss. She would not want to see the baby suffer; somehow I do not believe that! Now this leaves Ryan in a dilemma, his child or his ‘friends’ I would hope that he would give Anna false information, but, I don’t know, if I was in his position, I would probably do anything for Munchy.

At Erica’s home, Dr. Sidney Miller is explaining his findings to Erica; she seems a little confused so he shows her on his laptop what he means. Tyler’s DNA is missing half the ‘ladder’. Erica is shocked to say the least, she is wondering how Tyler survived like this. Sid says that he has for whatever reason, and that he is sure that the Visitors removed it to replace it with something new. So this is another reason Tyler is important.

Back at the secret Resistance base, aka Hobbes place. We see Malik tied up, and Erica tells Hobbes and Jack that The Visitors messed with Tyler’s DNA. Hobbes asks how, surely something like this is not possible. Sid, oh my goodness I like this guy’s comedic timing, he replies with: “Of course it’s not possible, neither are giant spaceships”

Sid says he needs to have more information about a female Visitor’s reproductive system. I guess they don’t know yet that only females of Royal linage can breed. He goes to take a swab of her mouth, when Ryan bursts though and tells him not to do it, as she has fangs, and a tail that she can rip out whenever she has too, he strolls up to her and pops a large belt around her middle. Unless someone had called him to tell him that they have Malik, I would have found it fishy that he knew, and was prepared.

Malik tells Ryan he will pay for turning against Anna, in a very monotone Lizard-Marcus-like way; Erica and Ryan both throw her a “Yeah right” look. Hobbes wants to get right into the action of torturing Malik but Ryan reminds him that Visitors have higher pain thresholds, and the only effective means of torture would be to skin her alive (I almost expected Ryan to laugh evilly: Bawahaha) Malik looks rather concerned, and everyone else rather shocked.

Other than Hobbes who smirked excitedly and grabbed a knife expectantly. Ryan tells them that skinning her thought an effective tool; would kill her, probably in about half an hour. Erica wants to know what the heck the Visitors did to her son. She finds it suspicious that she has had two Visitor Partners, the obviously wanted to keep an eye on her and though her, her son. Ryan does not think that Malik’s assignment was Erica, she was in the FBI long before her and Erica was partnered up, so maybe they should find out what Malik has been up to…

I can explain why the skinning process would kill. Once the skin is on, it is on it is part of them. In this V incarnation the Visitors have a bioengineered Human skin, that is grown and grafted onto them, and they have every feeling that humans have within that skin, from the little things like the sense of touch, for example hot and cold… right through to Pain etcetera… So having the skin ripped from them now that it is part of them would cause excruciating pain and eminent death.

Tyler is now on the Mothership, telling Anna and Lisa that he is afraid for his Mummy, she has, so he thinks, been attacked by Fifth Column again, and he keeps warning her about a Priest… Father Jack; he is sure that Jack is connected to or possible Fifth column. Anna of course becomes rather interested in this information. She tells Tyler that he should help his Mother as she is not going to help herself.

Back at resistance headquarters, the gang are looking at CCTV on a computer monitor, it is a small camera Hobbes left at that scene of the accident in a tree. They see Marcus and two other visitors that Ryan identifies as Trackers. They are trying to get the scent of Malik to find her. One of the trackers sees the camera and takes it out. Hobbes points out that Marcus was with the Trackers, and they come to the conclusion that whatever Malik was up to is pretty sinister.

Ryan suggests they go to Malik’s apartment to find clues. Erica said that the FBI would have already done that, but Ryan is adamant that they would not have found anything of importance. He then goes to Malik and proceeds to cut off one of her fingers from her right hand, Malik screams, there is very distinct reverberations and an animalistic edge to her scream. Some people wonder why Malik has Red blood, well; if you were to cut off a Lizard’s head here on earth (Not that I ever would or condone such behavior) it has red blood so; to me that stands to reason that a visitor would have red blood also.

Erica and Ryan cautiously enter Malik’s apartment, they find a really nicely kitted out place, very minimalistic and modern, CCTV plenty of security. Ryan and Erica took to searching the apartment, looking for a safe hidden. Erica looks at the oven, one number looked more used then the others. Ryan takes a look; the oven looks as if it has never been cooked in. Ryan uses Malik’s donated finger on the oven which opens the safe to reveal money, passports and V technology.

Erica humorously comments that she had wondered why he had cut Malik’s finger off. Erica pockets the money (Well puts it all in her coat) they then look at the Visitor technology, this is Malik’s assignment, it dates back to way before she was assigned to work with Erica, so more then likely she knows nothing about Tyler. Erica suggests that they can run the names of these people through her FBI database when they return to Resistance Headquarters.

They are alerted to Marcus and his goons on Malik’s security… “We’ve got Visitors” Erica announces. I loved this line, I giggle a little. One thing I love about this show is the comic relief. Even in real life, in desperate times one needs to laugh, or you go a little crazy.

Ryan says they need to cover their scent, and then asks for tin foil, he gets a plastic bowl and adds Bleach, and some kind of other cleaning product scrunches up the foil and puts into the mixture, then pops this all into the microwave turning it on, him and Erica leave via a sliding door out onto the balcony, just as the first Tracker enters the Microwave explodes quite spectacularly.

Meanwhile back on the Mothership Anna has called Chad to her conference room; Chad is doing a great job of pretending to be her little lap dog. Anna has no clue that he is Fifth Column. Anna is (So she says) happy that he was not harmed during the suicide bombings, Chad give Erica big props, saying he was really glad the Agent Erica Evans was there to save him. Anna gets down to business telling Chad that still there remains a small number of hostiles among the Humans. “Residual scepticism from the whole Red Sky affaire, you played God, that didn’t sit well particularly people of faith”

Anna shows Chad Jack’s R6 tracking information and asks him if he knows Jack… Chad causally states that he is a local priest and that one of his parishioners was the first bomber, but the FBI deemed that he was not involved. (He chose not to tell her that Jack recruited him into the Fifth Column, and that he is their spy and she is SO going down). Anna wants Chad to interview Jack, Chad does not understand why, Anna states that this is what journalism is all about to get everyone’s views. But that smirks says something else, like Anna is plotting something sinister as usual! 😉

We cut to Chad with Jack, telling him that he is making a huge mistake Anna has targeted him, she would not have offered this if she did not have some sort of ulterior motive. Jack seems to think that elevating his profile by going on Chad’s show would make it harder for her to attack him. Jack states that he is not afraid of her, Chad says what we are all thinking, you SO should be!

Back at Resistance Headquarters, Erica and Ryan are going through the people on Malik’s Visitor technology, Erica has learnt that all of these people have disappeared off the grid, no one would miss them. Sid, (Oh how I love him) says: “So wait, Anna’s doing Alien abductions as in…” He emulates being swooped up in a beam of light. Ryan states that if Anna is doing this here she is doing it all over the world. Erica says that they need to find out what they are doing and try to get a step ahead of Anna.

On the Mothership Anna with Joshua is telling Lisa about her newest contraption, “The Soul Sucker” (Ok that’s not the official name for the devise but it sounds dramatic). Anna tells Lisa that the Human soul is the biggest threat to the Visitors, Lisa asks why this was so. “It exerts a powerful influence over Human, if we don’t eliminate it our plans will fail” Anna explains. Joshua goes on to tell them that The Humans believe the soul is eternal and lives on after the person dies, but this contraption has been created to find it and extract it. He tells Anna tat as the Humans will die with the testing he would need hundreds thousands of test subjects. He also states that even though Malik has gone missing the test subjects are still on schedule to be delivered to them. Anna seem s marginally pleased.

Back on Earth, a young woman, with her Guitar is strolling down an ally way, she is one of the people on Malik’s list. A van pulls up beside her, the Driver steppes out, then pounces on her she struggles and he knocks her out with a tranquiliser. He bundles her into his Van, which if almost full to capacity with people, people who will never be missed; Anna is simply despicable.

Back at Resistance Headquarters, Erica looks deflated Hobbes asks her what is wrong, Erica admits that she had hoped that Malik’s assignment was her son, Hobbes suggests that maybe if Malik doesn’t give them any information, perhaps her body will, thanks to Sid (Science boy according to Hobbes, which Sid corrects to Science Man!) Ryan calls Erica and Hobbes over, all the names were dated in the weeks/months previous but one, Sophie Allen who was dated today, they come to the conclusion that she is due to be taken today. So they decided they need to find Sophie to break the chain, to put a spanner in the works of Anna’s fiendish plans, anything Anna is up to cannot be good!

Erica asks the still hanging (By the wrists) Malik who these people are, Malik kind of screeches at Erica, reminiscent of when I would imagine a Velociraptor would sound. Erica asks how many, “More then you can imagine” She replies with a reverberating Lizardish ring to her voice. (Brilliant work by the amazing sound department!!!). Ryan finds the work address for Sophie’s Mother, so him and Erica go to see what information they can find out. Hobbes looks at Malik expectantly, I can almost see him rubbing his hands together in anticipation for the torturing that is to come!

Now we are at St Josephine’s Church Chad had come to see Jack with the footage from the interview, Jack is just about to start a sermon, and he asks Chad to stay. Jack starts his sermon when he is rudely interrupted by a Man, accusing Jack as being the one responsible for his Wife dying in the attacks, a fight between this man and another parishioner insures, Jack breaks it up, and tells the Man he should be fighting him if he feels he needs to fight someone. But Chad during the kafuffle see’s that the Man is a plant, he sees non-human eyes glowing (Green this time. I am beginning to think that Visitors have different colour eyes depending on their station). Chad is obviously disturbed by this.  As the fight is brought to an end by Jack intervening we see someone recording the insurrection with an iPhone.

Erica and Ryan visit Sophie’s Mother Betty at the shop she works, to ask if she has any information on the possible whereabouts of her daughter. Erica flashes her FBI badge; Betty wonders if she is in trouble, but Erica tells Betty that she is there unofficially as a Mother to try to find Sophie. Betty tells them that Sophie ran away six months ago, Erica asks if Betty might have any means of contacting Sophie, but she does not have a clue where she could be, Sophie got caught up with the wrong crowd. Erica sympathises with Betty, as she is slowly loosing Tyler to Anna. She tells Betty she has a teenager and fees the same way at times. Erica gives Betty her Business Card, and asks Betty to call if she can think of anything that could help them in finding her daughter. Betty begs for their help, she has tried everything she can think of, and they are the first to come to her about Sophie. She tells them that the Police will not help as she is over eighteen, she tells Erica that with her being a mother she could understand her dilemma, and know how she feels, she then goes on to ask Ryan if he has any Children, he tells her he has a daughter, Betty asks again, Please Help! Ryan seems to be really affected by this. I completely sympathise with poor Betty, I would be devastated if my beautiful Munchy was to get in with the wrong bunch of people and run away. It would totally destroy me if I was in Betty’s position.

Back in resistance headquarters, Erica and Ryan return, Hobbes asks “Any luck with Sophie’s Mum?” Erica explains that only Malik would have the answers. Hobbes, with great enthusiasm suggests that they cut her up, aka SKIN HER ALIVE! Sid really does not want to have Malik killed, because he needs to study her, the samples he took from her were degrading exceptionally fast, Ryan explains this is a defence mechanism so that if they are captured they cannot be studied. Sid pushes the point saying that anything he can learn about the Visitors or Tyler would die with her. Ryan insists that its Erica’s call as it is her son. I think that Erica is certainly in a sticky situation, she will have to decide what is more important, possibly finding out more about Tyler’s predicament or saving the life of an innocent girl. I know that if it was Munchy in question I would not choose the life of a stranger over my Child, but as she has been through so many hurdles in her little life, I could never put a stranger before her.

We zoom to a view of the Mothership hovering silently over Central Park in New York, in the blackness of night; Anna had sent for Chad, who went to her asap as he would not want to cause any suspicion now, he is Fifth Column and knows he needs to maintain his ‘relationship’ with Anna; at least for the interim. Anna thanks him for the interview with Jack; Chad tells Anna that he does not think it will quite have the effect she was going for. Anna tells Chad that it has gone exactly the way she had envisioned it. Anna wanted to elevate Jack’s profile so that the footage of the insurrection recorded by the mysterious iPhone could go viral on the likes of YouTube and other kinds of Social Networking websites. Anna then proceeds to initiate her holographic monitor, and play part of Chad’s interview, where Father Jack is denouncing any form of violence, and then she cuts to the iPhone footage as I stated above, she did exactly as she had intended she wanted to completely discredit Jack, people would see a Priest saying he is totally against the violent acts of terrorism that have been taking place around the world, and then in his own place of worship in a kerfuffle with several parishioners. This is not the sort of behaviour befitting of a Priest. Anna used Chad yet again for her own twisted agenda.

Chad immediately sees through Anna’s game, he said he was there, and that was NOT what happened. He told Anna, that Jack broke up the fight. Anna proclaims that the internet is already ablaze with this story, and people will not be so forgiving. Anna thanks and congratulates Chad for his efforts in condemning this Violent Priest… He blinks and nods pretending to accept the compliments. I am so very glad that Chad is now on the right (Our) side, fighting for our freedom.

I secretly hoped this from the very beginning. In the original V the News Reporter Character Christine Walsh turned to the good side too late and was killed off. I SO do not want Chad to get killed off, I love his Character, and I kept telling everyone who would listen that I knew that Chad was not as bad as everyone thought and I had faith that he would see the light! I love being right (Ha ha ha!)

Ryan takes Erica outside for a chat; she wants to find Sophie, Ryan tells her that everyone would understand if she chose to study Malik to try and get some answers about Tyler. Ryan says that sometimes you have to choose your won. Now I personally; would have had MAJOR alarm bells ringing in my head. Ryan more-or-less told Erica that he would choose his Child over them, but Erica did not see that, I will forgive her short-sightedness on this occasion as she had a few major blows to the head today. Back inside, Erica approaches the still tied and bound Malik and asks her nicely for the last time to tell her where Sophie is. Erica takes only a mere second to come to the decision, and she looks over to the very expectant Hobbes and says: “Skin her!”

Malik looks disturbed, unsure if Erica was bluffing or is Erica really going to let this Maniac loose on her Human skin?? Malik’s worse fears comes to pass as Hobbes delicately unbuttons her bra, and takes a knife to her back, cutting through the Human bioskin, Malik lets out a blood curdling, spine chilling scream as Hobbes pulls her bioskin from her back and ribs. The special visual effects were outstanding, it looked very believable and the sound effects were amazing too, I personally loved how Malik had a dinosauristic edge to her voice (As in how I would expect a Dinosaur to sound if it had the ability to talk and scream). Malik thinks that she can safely die without revealing anything of importance but Erica enlightens her, and hands the forum over to Hobbes. He tells Malik she has but two choices, one being Epinephrine which will extend the “Fun” for another ten or so hours; give or take… or number two a sedative that would end her suffering pretty much instantly. Of course Hobbes opts for the Epinephrine and gleefully jabs it into Malik much harder than necessary. Malik turns to Ryan and asks how is it that he can do this to one of his own people, Erica interjects and tells Malik that she might be a visitor but his in not one of them. Malik retorts saying that they would never find Sophie. Ryan jumps from his seat and rips more bioskin from Mailk’s back, revealing her tail, which I must observe as being way less striking then Anna’s but of course the Queen Lizard-Bitch is going to have a more impressive tail then the commoners. 😉

Erica asked Malik again to tell them where Sophie is, but Malik would not talk. Ryan yanks Malik’s tail from under the remaining bioskin, and cuts off her tail, Malik screamed out, again I point out the audio effects of the screaming mixed with Mailk’s voice was fantastic, very creepy. Malik relents, she tells Erica that the Visitors’ name was Ed Cantrell; he poses as a driver for the Midnight Samaritans. Supposedly delivering food to the homeless; this is how he finds his victims, Erica asks where this is happening; Malik tells her it is in New Jersey, there will be a shuttle to rendezvous and pick up the victims… Tonight at Lonengan Farms…Erica asks Malik if she knows anything about Tyler, and Anna’s scheming plans for him. Malik swears she know nothing more, just the assignment she was set to obtain test subjects.

Ryan, Hobbes and Erica pull up in a car, they quickly stumble upon the Van, but it is unfortunately empty, the hear screaming from a at a guess younger female, from the wooded area, the go in pursuit, the quickly discover that it is Sophie who is being dragged by the Visitor snatcher. Erica shouts the “FIB” line and that make no difference he seems to run faster, he eventually lets go of Sophie, Erica shoots the Visitor he falls, then takes an immolation pill to Erica and Hobbs dismay.

Ryan is told to stay with Sophie and get her back to the car, while Erica and Hobbes go check out the surrounding area to see if there are anymore stragglers. They stumble across the shuttle that is embarking the last of the abductees. Erica makes a mad dash towards the Shuttle but Hobbes hold her back, I don’t know if this is just me seeing more into this then there actually is, but It totally seems that Hobbes takes every opportunity to grab hold of Erica and hug her.

Back on the Mothership, Anna with Lisa and Joshua are in the testing area, ‘The Soul Machine’ a male is on the contraption, strapped into place, Anna asks if Lisa is learning well. Joshua agrees she is. Mother and Daughter, the cracks start to appear.

Anna observes that even when there is nothing left to fight for Humans still battle on. Anna orders the test to begin; Joshua starts the test explaining the theory behind the “soul extractor”, this machine will take everything and the last one standing should technically be the soul.

Anna sees Lisa looking disturbed; she calls for Joshua to stop the test, asking Lisa what is wrong. Lisa tells her nothing is wrong. “Good, it is only one life, nothing compares to the future of our species. You much learn that in order to be Queen” Anna orders the test to be continued, Joshua goes to restart, but Anna says, not him, but Lisa should start this test. The Human test subject begs Lisa to help, not to go through with the test. She falters for a few moments, Anna steps closer, “Look into his eyes, look into his soul… now take it” Anna instructs with a sneering smirk.

I can understand why Anna thinks that it is important to find the soul, with Human emotion running riot among her people, and causing much disturbances; It seem to me that for Anna the soul and Human emotion is nothing more than a pestilence that needs to be eradicated; but she should not be able to get to it with any sort of ease, the soul is a sacred place, and should remain that way. And of course it is human nature to go down fighting; I just do not think she should win this part of the war.

Back on Earth now, Erica and Ryan have brought Sophie to her Mother’s shop. The poor girl remembers nothing. Erica tells her she was abducted but that’s all she needed to know. The reunion of Mother and Child is beautiful.

Erica tells Ryan that that is what they are fighting for, Ryan pouts that they only saved one, but from a Mother’s perspective it would mean the world to have your Child back. Especially as in Betty’s case there was virtually no hope for her daughter to be returned to her, she has had her entire world brought back to life. At St Josephine’s Chad comes to Visit Jack to tell him how Anna manipulated them yet again, she had him built up so he could be torn down, Chad also tells Jack that the man that started the fight was not Human, he was a plant no doubt by the scheming Anna… Poor Chad, he is really upset by this.

It’s so endearing, and I know he had it in him to be “A goodie who was a baddy but not a bad baddy, and we all like him better as a goody!”. Chad wanted to put out another report to tell the truth of what happened, Jack does not see the point. Jack tells Chad he has to remain strong and stay close to Anna. Jack tells Chad that the Fifth Column will always be strong with Men like him fighting with them, and tells Chad it is time he met the others! Chad greets Erica asking how the Fifth Column Task Force was doing, she tells him that is but her day job and to call her Erica there! Erica thanks Chad for his information about Malik, it was a really brave thing to, and pretty much saves Erica’s life. Chad said it was the least he could do after she said his life during the terrorist attacks.

Hobbes is suspicious, he tells everyone that Chad has sold them out before and really does not trust him at all. Chad agrees, that he has been a fool, and that he wants them to use his position with Anna to their advantage. Erica thinks it’s about time Chad knew what was really going on. She whips the blanket off of the body of Malik so Chad can see the Reptiles within. Chad: Anna looks like THAT underneath??? “What do they want? Why don’t they just kill everyone and take over?” Chad asks. Erica tells him that they want us. Erica asks him is he is ready for this. Of course Chad Decker is ready!

Back up on the Mothership Anna is thanking Tyler for filming that incriminating, damning, despicable footage of Jack Landry, Tyler thanks Anna for telling him to go. Anna thinks it’s delightful that Tyler has brought the likes of Jack Landry to light. Anna tells Tyler to be careful, and to keep looking out for her and Lisa, and she that she feels as if he is a son to her…

At Erica’s home, there is a knock at the door. Lisa is there, clearly upset, Erica invites her in. Lisa looks like she is on the edge of a breakdown; she is saying she cannot do this anymore. And that she has no one to talk Erica tells her that it’s ok, and that Lisa will always have Erica to talk to! She hugs her as Lisa breaks down in tears. It’s really heart wrenching seeing Lisa so upset. Meanwhile back in the Dungeon in the bowels of the Mothership, Anna comes to gloat yet again to her Mother, that she tested Lisa, and she passed.

Diana reminds Anna that she had passed all her tests also, so she could keep an eye on Lisa. Anna seems to think she knows everything Lisa does… Diana tells Anna that Caution has never been a strong point of her’s but Anna says that Foresight is. (I had to listen to that couple of time because I thought Anna said Forsythe… Anyone who follows the VRPG will know about Forsythe)

After Anna walk away from her Mother, she goes to Ryan with his Baby in her arms, telling him she wants names, his wee one will need bliss soon, so he had better play ball. Ryan tells her he has found the fifth column.

Well I hope he tells a load of old porky Pies, cause the resistance will be kinds over if he grasses on them now. I vote for blaming that Eli (bomber guy) that they do not know as of yet!
