Anna gets bloody in Red Rain-640

Hello V Series fans.Click to visit V Series on ABC!

First, thank you to ABC and Warner Brothers in bringing V Series to Click to visit Warner Brothers Entertainment!our screens!
For me V was my first Sci-fi love from the age of five, I love what you have done to bring a wonderful science fiction franchise into our century, I adored the original V, and have idolised Jane Badler since I first watched the show, so I am thrilled to see her in the role of Anna’s Mother Diana.

I especially love the idea of the infiltration into every aspect of life on Earth for over fifty years. Keep up the amazing work and I hope to see my favorite Show for many years to come!

V Series Season Two Episode Two Serpent’s Tooth:

Anna gets bloody in Red Rain-640We start this episode exactly where Red Rain ended, Anna with her Mother Diana. Diana tells her that it has been fifteen years since she has seen her Daughter, when she moved her to the cell on this mother ship, after taking power before she was due to, pretending that Diana was dead. Anna told her she had no choice, Diana was being polluted by the Human skin, becoming emotional.
Diana then goes on to say that she did not think it would take this long for Anna to feel Human emotions, Anna denies it naturally.

Diana wants to know why she is here. Anna tells her it is merely curiosity, her scientists are looking into isolating and eradicating Human emotion, and knowing that Diana has been in her Human skin twice as long as she has, she should have an understanding of Human emotion.
Anna what we are beneath in Red Rain-640“When the Humans set off the first Atomic Bomb, it shone across the universe like a brilliant flare, another potential home world for our species, so I came here to secretly move among these people, to see if interbreeding was possible, but then I realised that it would ‘never’ work here. If you proceed with interbreeding you will have a generation of V’s who will listen to their emotions, follow their hearts, and refuse to bow to their queen” Diana tells Anna

Anna assures her that Human emotion will be under control before the interbreeding starts, which is of course a lie, because of Ryan’s Daughter. She goes on to tell Diana that Lisa is just entering her fertility cycle. Diana (It seems takes pleasure in telling Anna) stated that it is all down to Lisa, Anna is now infertile, no wonder she was so upset about her babies being killed. Lisa is the only one able to lay eggs. Diana tells Anna that Lisa cannot do that here on Earth; Anna assures her that she will make it possible… Diana: “It’s Earth or Nothing”

***( Anyone who follows the V: We are of Peace always RPG will remember that we had come up with a similar story line, a long time ago that Anna was power hungry and told her people that her Mother had died, but she had her Sister (A created Character) believe that she had killed their Mother. And we stated that only Royal Visitor females can breed. We are amazed and thrilled that the Show is going down a similar path)***

Anna what we are beneath in Red Rain-640Erica is looking through her medical records from being pregnant with Tyler, when Lisa knocks at the door, Erica is told about Joshua being alive, but it is unclear if he truly remembers nothing or he is protecting them. Erica tells Lisa of her theory re Tyler, Lisa is shocked and worried, what could have been done to Tyler? She asked if Lisa could ask Joshua.

*Crack pot theory here* I think Anna had Visitor’s here experimenting with Pregnant woman to make their Children more compatible for breeding. Maybe these V-experiment babies even have some Visitor DNA, not enough to be detected by Earth Technology, or cleverly disguised so not recognised by our technology.
Tyler comes in and immediately goes to hug Lisa, Erica see’s he is cut himself shaving, so takes the bloodied tissue wad. Lisa and Tyler leave so Erica puts the blood stained tissue into a sandwich bag.

Erica heads over to get Sid (Dr Sidney Miller) to analyse Tyler’s blood to find out what the Visitors has done to them. There is a little banter between them, Sid is really funny, I really like his comic relief. It is wonderful to see the resistance growing.

We see a brief scene where Ryan attends Valery’s funeral, her parents are furious, and from the feel blame her death on him and the Visitors. He is asked to leave, but before he does he is given a small devise by a Visitor who tells him it is so he can see his Daughter.

Chad Decker a different tone from Red Rain-640Mean while at the Healing Centre Chad is reporting how people are now flocking back to the centres as they think that Red Sky and Red Rain is a gift from Anna. Marcus takes him to one side and asks if he will interview the first woman to be having her baby delivered by V technology. He suitably tries to convince her not to go through with it, telling her she is brave and that the V’s are new to Human child delivery, so many other Mother’s to be do not what to risk the safety of their children.
At St Josephine’s a man is confessing his lack of faith. And says he was inspired by Father Jack’s speech (From Red Sky) which he saw on the internet. He asks Jack if it is time to make a stand. Of course Jack agrees.

We now see this man walking towards the Peace Ambassador’s centre, looking nervous. He moves to be in the entrance, and then he rips open his coat to reveal a vest covered in explosives, everyone tries to run, but it goes off causing devastation. This is so very relevant for today, there are so many people being killed by suicide bombers. It is so very terrifying.

Rehka Sharma as Malik from Red Rain-640Malik, Erica and Kendrick are at the scene of the explosion discussing that this is one of twenty-nine suicide bombings in the host cities all over the world, hundreds of people are dead worldwide, seventeen at the New York Peace Ambassador centre. Erica is weakly defending the Fifth Column, saying it does not fit, the Fifth are Anti-V not Anti-Human but Kendrick tells them that there was an email from the Fifth Column claiming responsibility. Kendrick says that the Fifth Column want to blow a hole in Anna’s apparent agenda, Erica snirks: “Twenty Nine holes”.

Kendrick finds the Bombers iPhone and the countdown has reset. Kendrick send Erica to try to find who “Lit this fuse” they leave, and Malik acts suspiciously, then takes something from the evidence, she then secretly rendezvous with Marcus to hand over this evidence, he tells her the Queen will be rather happy.

Marcus takes the evidence to Anna telling her Agent Malik came through, and that they should be able to lift a print. Anna wants the person responsible to be brought to her. They discuss that the violence within the Fifth Column has escalated, and they are becoming dangerous. Anna is showing concern, she admits that they have never been attacked on this scale before, the Fifth Column is becoming a bigger threat then she had anticipated, and Ryan will be her weapon against them.

Marcus questions this, as Ryan has rebelled so many times, Anna describes Ryan of one of the best Fifth Column Tracker, she had sent him to kill John May, many moons ago. Marcus is still unconvinced, asking what makes her think he can be controlled this time, because she has his Child… So very Anna, evil and manipulating; using an innocent child to get Ryan to do her bidding.

Lovely Little Lizard from Red Rain-640We cut to a Medical room within the Mothership Anna; it must be said, very awkwardly holding the baby while a Doctor is giving the baby her Human Skin. Marcus wants to know why she is doing this, she explains it is to get to Ryan, if the child is a physical resemblance to her Mother it will pull on his heart strings. The little Munchkin is fussing and Marcus remarks: “I think it’s hungry”. Anna says that the baby wants her mother, and with an evil smirk she says “She has me”.

The amazing special effects team did a great job with this next sequence, I cannot wait to see it on BluRay when Season two is released. Anna then takes a humongous Rat and swallows it whole, then regurgitates the digested Rat for the Baby… This was rather disturbing to some viewers, but makes perfect sense in the fact that the Visitors are Reptilian, and the Baby couldn’t have digested a Rat. It seemed a little bird like, I kind of Picture Anna as a Velociraptor, which of course is likened to a bird of prey, so this all makes perfect sense to me!

Anna tells Marcus that there is nothing quite like the bond between a Mother and a Child. Ok, this point I have to be in agreement with Anna, the bond that me and Munchy have is amazing, but I certainly wouldn’t regurgitate food for her 🙂 Marcus looked on, with an angry expression, he is either disgusted with her even considering a bond with the Hybrid, or that was his Rat, and he is miffed that Anna gave it to the baby. 🙂

*Thank you Gregg! This IS definitely bigger then a guinea pig! But *giggle* still not quite the promised Blue Whale. Sorry Morena, this was probably my fault! *

Anna contacts Ryan on Earth, with the Baby, tormenting him saying the baby has her Mother’s eyes. Ryan wanted to know why Anna gave the baby skin; she said that perhaps one day the baby could life with him on Earth. Anna tells Ryan all he has to do is protect his people. Me and my friend thought that Oscar would be a cute name for the Rat, and we also agreed that his acting was second to none, just look at that cute little face in the picture above. 🙂

Erica, Jack, Kyle Hobbes and Ryan are in the secret Resistance base, discussing this new Fifth Column faction, Hobbes wants to find them and recruit them; Erica and Jack think it is a bad idea; as they are killing humans as well as V’s. Ryan agrees with Hobbes, Ryan makes a valid point, do they want these people working with them, or end up in Anna’s hands?

I really loved the conflict here in this scene, it is far more believable for them to have an argument about the morals or lack of, by this new Faction. Erica and Jack do not want to see any Human blood spilt.

Ryan returns from mother ship in Red Rain-640Ryan asks what Erica has on the bombing, she shows them the Photographs, Jack immediately recognised him as the Man who took confession earlier, so now Jack is facing his own moral dilemma, he feels like her is responsible for those eighteen lives as he told the bomber that it was time to fight. Erica and Hobbes head out to find the home of the Bomber.

Meanwhile on the Mothership, Anna calls Lisa into a medical room, where Joshua is on a table, a medical technician is at a control holomonitor. Anna tells Lisa after the attacks she has doubled the efforts of identifying (And Skinning?) Fifth column, so she wants to see what Joshua knows. Lisa asks if there had been any progress, Anna observes that her daughter seems concerned. Lisa answers well: “Of course I am Mother, I wanna make sure we find the traitors before they can do anything else” Well saved Lisa. Anna tells the Med-Tec to start from the last memory and work the way back.

The only memory that is available is Erica killing Joshua. The Medic tells Anna that the near death experience has wiped his memories, including Fifth Column members, the last thing he remembers is being a Loyal V,, and the loss is not permanent, but would take time to reconstruct the memories.

Erica and Hobbes are at the Bombers home, rifling through his belongings; trying to find a clue of who was responsible. (As Hobbes is looking through the books he swipes one: The Art of War, Sun Tzu). They find some material connected to the Bombing, and Hobbes indicates that it is linked to the Masaud. Hobbes states that they need to find the Masuad agent then they will have the radical group.

The Healing Centre was circled, and the Apex building. Every other bomb around the world has been at a Healing or Peace Ambassador centre, they are at a loss why the Apex Building is so important. Erica wants to call it in to the FBI because hundreds of people work there, but Hobbes does not want to.

Rioting in the streets from Red Rain-640Jack is speaking to people at the sight of the bombing, Ryan is with him, looking uncomfortable, thought he feels, it’s obvious that he does not have anything like real human emotion; Anna who is watching him on her Holomonitor can see this. She smirks then goes to her Mother, Diana. Telling her that she knew that Humans could be manipulated by using their Emotions, but finally she understands that Emotions are our greatest weapon. Diana smirks (That exact smirk that all old school V fans will be familiar with) Anna loses her rag and smacks her Mother, as she did Lisa.

“No more games Mother, you’ll tell me everything you know about Human emotion and how to defeat it” Anna states in a threatening tone. Diana looks defiant, Anna grins evilly and stuffs an immolation pill back her throat, Diana spits it out, Anna tells her there are plenty more where that comes from.

Diana remains defiant still, so Anna grabs her face making a move to force another pill back her throat. Diana then agrees that she will tell Anna, but first she wanted something. Again, I have been saying that Anna was going to be incredibly evil; and here she is smacking and threatening her Mother.

Meanwhile Erica with the FBI are evacuating the Apex building, Erica realises that WNT The news network Chad works for is on the twelfth floor of the Apex building, then has an epiphany it is… Chad Decker. Chad it the target, he is Anna’s mouth piece (Erica and Marcus’ words not mine) and survived unscathed at the first attack at the healing centre. Erica sees a suspect woman, she then takes a hand detonator, the same the first bomber had used, Erica acted immediately, and she lagged it pushing Chad out of harm’s way, and then takes the woman down. Chad looks more than grateful.

Jane Badler as Diana Serpents ToothBack on the Mothership Anna returns to her Mother with a necklace that she proceeds to hang round Diana’s neck. She touches her neck and a melody plays. “I first hear this music on Earth, no; I didn’t hear it I ‘felt’ it. I carried it around in my head, for fifteen years it was my only companion” Diana tells Anna. Anna demands to know the ‘key’ to Human emotion.

“You’re listening to it Daughter. Heartache, pain, sorrow; I felt it all. Still; where it strikes me, it’s even deeper… Don’t just listen, hear, within it such beauty, yet it is called: Sadness of soul” Diana explains with much emotion. Anna cottons on quickly asking if that is what makes us Human, out soul.

We then see Ryan talking to Jack; he wants to know if he has a soul. Jack tries to tell him, because if the way he feels, he has to have a soul. Diana’s music is playing throughout.

Diana goes on to explain to her daughter: “The soul is what lies beneath; it is the core of all Humans…” Anna had never believed that the soul was a real thing. Diana tries to tell her that it is far too complicated, but Anna insists that nothing is too complicated for V technology, she will isolate it.

“The soul is the single greatest threat to our species, if it’s there I’ll find it and I’ll destroy it” Anna proclaims. I still do not think Anna quite grasps how powerful our emotions are, how it can make you so much stronger, one with an emotional will to live could be a mighty advisory to Anna, and we see this in Erica

Christopher Shyer as Marcus from Red RainMarcus is with a technician, wanting to know why the reconstruction was taking so long. He is told because there are no prints, but has traced fragments of the textiles to Five Brother’s Textiles, which Marcus clarifies as a code for Fifth Column. ‘Eli Cohen’ is the man they are searching for. Marcus orders that Agent Malik is sent to find him and bring him to Him before the FBI finds out about him and his business.

Erica, Malic and Kendrick at the FBI head quarters, Kendrick refers to the caught ‘attempted’ bomber as Melanie Singer, she is a secretary. As the three head towards the holding room to talk with Melanie, Malik gets a text message. Wow Visitor Agent Malik you have been seriously neglecting your iPhone you need twenty-five updates.

Malik tells them that all three of them isn’t needed to talk to the captive, so she would go and look into her past to see if there was any evidence, Kendrick agrees. Erica looks slightly suspicious.

Erica sits to start to question Melanie asking her if she wishes she could go back and change things, but Melanie says with venom that she needed to do something to stop the Visitors. She also states that her saying anything would change nothing as the timer would reset at dawn. Erica tries to talk her around, saying her fifth column friends are in danger. Kendrick walks away, stressed, looks out the window; Erica takes the opportunity to show her V behind the ear to show she was in fact fifth column.

Melanie looks at Kendrick; Erica shakes her head, and then asks again for the information, to avoid a blood bath. So Melanie started to talk, she said she never met anyone it was all conducted via chat rooms and the like. When she was ready to take the next step ‘they’ came for her in a van. She was blind folded. Erica asked if she heard anything, she said a lot if trucks, a barge whistle. Whoever this was; was most likely by the Water. Erica calls Hobbes; he had some name, and tells her about Five Brothers Textiles, so they agree to meet there.

Meanwhile at Five Brothers Textiles Malik enters, She hides when she hears a noise, it is Hobbes looking around. She tries to sneak up on him with her gun put, but he takes her out, as soon as he realises who she is, he scarpers. Malik shoots at him, but misses, she stands and looks uncomfortable. She reaches into her mouth, it looks like Hobbes cracked her tooth, but he broke one of her fangs, with some nifty sound effects she pulls it out, blood falling on her cloths and the floor.

Erica Evans doing on her own from Red Rain-640Erica disturbed her, as she enters the factory; Malik sees her and leaves promptly. Erica sees the blood on the floor, at that moment Hobbes grabs her and pulls her back, Erica asks whose blood it is; he tells her it is her partners. She asks if Malik saw her, he is not sure, so they agree to leave the building, separately of course.

Meanwhile back on the Mothership, Anna with Marcus, Joshua and a Medical technician and the baby, she tells them that Ryan continues to resist her, so she has a plan, “Make it sick” She orders “Give it a chronic pain that only my Bliss can elevate” Her reasoning is that no parent can stand by and do nothing when their child is in pain, and she wants Ryan to feel all the pain of the Humans seeing he ‘loves’ them so much.

Jack has taken Ryan to Valery’s graveside, to pray as Ryan is trying to do as Jack instructs Anna contacts him with her Bliss: “Feel my warmth Ryan; Feel my comfort, your baby is in terrible pain I can ease her suffering, as I can ease yours. Let me in Ryan. Let me feel your emptiness”
Ryan yells out “NO” And tells Jack he cannot do this, and that a soul is a curse.

Erica and Malik turn up at the factory while the FBI are there raking through the place, Kendrick shows then what they have found, a room full of the suicide bomb vests. Hobbes calls Erica telling her that a vest was missing, and that he found a car missing too, he located the car and checked the sat nav, he knows where the gut Eli was heading. Erica asks him to text the location and she would meet her there. She tells Malik and Kendrick that it was Tyler. Kendrick gives Erica a piece of paper in an evidence bag with an address on (The one Hobbes was talking about) and she says she’ll check it out, Kendrick orders Malik to go with her so they can both check it out.

Chad Decker shocked by Red SkyChad is at his desk going over footage when he sees that his team had recorded Malik’s exchange with Marcus. Chad goes to Jack, saying he thought he was a member of the Fifth Column not a target, Jack said his words were not intended to be acted on to that extreme, Chad retorts: “We don’t always know the impact we’re gonna have do we”. He then goes on to Tell Jack that he thinks FBI agent Erica Evans is in danger. Jack tries to deny that he knows her, Chad admits to seeing her there during the sermon. He tells Jack that he is sure that Erica is in danger; he tells him that the agent in the photograph (Malik) is Erica’s partner and she is handing stolen evidence over to the Visitors. “Warn her, or there will be more blood on your hands” Chad adds before he leaves.

Erica in the car with Malik, it’s dark now. She quizzes Erica on if it was Tyler calling. Erica tells Malik he’s concerned for her safety with everything that is going on. Erica asks Malik where she was, Malik said she was at Melanie Singer’s apartment checking for any clues, but found nothing worth reporting. Then Malik tells Erica that a cop said that someone looking like her was seen leaving the factory before the FBI showed up, that was Erica’s clue that Malik had seen her, she is in serious danger here.

Anna capture Ryan from Red Rain-640Malik pulls her gun on Erica telling her to pull over, then takes Erica gun from her. An incoming text from Jack gives Erica a moment’s distraction she struggles with Malik the car veers left and right, dramatically ending up flipped over. Both Erica and Malik are suspended upside down in the wrecked car, Malik wakes suddenly, looking rather angry, revealing her ‘real’ eyes.

Anna again contacts Ryan with the Baby crying in agony. Anna tells him that as a Hybrid she contacted a disease that even they are having trouble with, she tells him she can see him suffering, that he thinks he has changed, but she coldly tells him that he has no soul, but he can have Bliss, she said she can alleviate the Baby’s pain with Bliss. Anna tells him that all he has to do is be one of them, to help her, and then she will help him and his daughter. He says he’ll do what she wants, just not to let his daughter suffer. Anna orders the Medical Technician: “Get it out of here”

Anna capture Ryan from Red Rain-640Joshua enters as the baby is removed. Anna tells him that he had sabotaged his research, she tells him the source of Human emotion is the Soul, Joshua tells her he will find it so she can destroy it.

Anna then returns to her Mother, telling her that her Chief medical officer knows what to look for now, and she would succeed where Diana had failed.

“I wouldn’t be so sure Daughter, after all you are running out of time, soon enough you’ll lose control. And I promise you this: one day you’ll feel the sting of your daughter’s betrayal as I have felt yours” Anna grabs the necklace from her Mother and storms out. Diana: “Tick tock, Tick tock”
