Hello V Series fans,

I will be bringing you a shorter V Series review since I asked for and received a vacation from Kenn of WHR; with the most relevant and important plot lines in this episode, and my favourite parts. (I am sure everyone knows what that is before I even start) 😉 I must admit I thought that someone’s head might roll in this episode… I was hoping for Thomas 😀 Never mind!
There is a deadly plague striking the twenty nine boys who had their DNA ladders stripped for : Anna’s evil plans. A boy in Beijing erupts (well there is this disgusting ooze bubbling from his Mouth) and blood from his orifices.
Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) ordered Visitor Joshua (Mark Hildreth) to fix this, but he cannot, not until they have got ALL the DNA samples from the best available from the Humans. Once they gather the entire said DNA they can put this into the Boys to complete their stripped ladders. What does this mean for Tyler Evans? (Logan Huffman) Will he be ‘different’ if he has this infusion?
Oh I must say, I laughed but loved Anna’s super villain speech over a live aboard as they extracted her DNA:
Anna: “One unique strain of DNA Joshua; extracted from every carefully selected Live aboard; the finest genetic material Mankind has to offer. Soon it will be ours” I almost expected an evil fiendish laugh Bawahahaha!
Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) plans a heist (well sort of) to defeat Anna’s evolution plans. She (with Chad Decker (Scott Wolf), Jack ((Joel Gretsch)), Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) and Dr. Sidney Miller (Bret Harrison) have a conference call with Eli Cohan’s Lieutenants to tell them of her fiendish plan *Insert another evil laugh* 😉 Her plans consist of stealing a virus, and make it so the victim.
What I mean is that “Live Aboard’s” DNA cannot be replicated, but also once added to Anna’s pool would make that un-replicateable also! They intended to steal the virus and Dr. Sidney Miller would modify it with the purpose of distributing the virus to the other twenty-nine cities to be put into a live aboard who is among the last to go onto the ships.
Chad would them attempt to obtain a list of all the name of every last live aboard who is going to be among the last wave going up to the Motherships all over the world. Why? So that the resistance cells in each host city could choose a victim to target and use the virus to infect them. This is for all you Chad Fans out there 🙂
First off, WOW, I really need V Series technology installed in my house, it seems they can have a computer pop up anywhere!) Visitor Thomas (Martin Cummins) tells Anna there is an issue with a little girl called Jenifer, who has an incredibly high immune system, nothing else like it on earth. Anna wants her aboard obviously, but the mother is proving difficult. Anna asks Thomas to bring the mother so she can appease her concerns.
When Anna meets the mother and Jennifer, a cute little pickle, Anna tells her that she has a secret daughter, who is named Amy. That is crazy! In the V Series RPG which I administer my characters mother is called Amy (Wright). Amy is Anna’s sister, and I joked that Anna named her other child Amy as she missed her sister so much! Needless to say Anna convinces the mother to bring the poor kid aboard, then wastes no time in extracting her DNA. I am glad to say that at least they sedated the poor kidlet!
Erica’s heist does not go exactly to plan; they get the virus, but Hobbes gets shot during the excitement. I thought they should have been a bit stealthier, but they did do what they set out to do! Once that was over Sid makes the Virus Bomb as Hobbes called it, and they ship to the world.
After Chad comes through with the names (I had no doubt in his abilities!) Erica puts one vial of the virus into a Male Live aboard. The others do the same worldwide. Unfortunately the Live aboard in New York collapses and Joshua catches it too fast, Anna foils their plans.
BUT has to admit that the fifth Column are back! Chad has to announce on his Show to the world that the Fifth Column is still a force to be reckoned with, as they supposedly got suicide bombers aboard the ships this time; which of course we know is a lie created by Anna.
Ryan meets Diana, to his shock. She agrees to help him escape as long as he helps her in return. Deposed Queen Diana (Jane Badler) is shocked about the existence of Ryan’s daughter, but looks excited by the news. Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut) escapes in a special pod that Diana had installed (She said they are cloaked, and undetectable from V and Human technology).
it looked like it was Anna’s conference room; now for those who asked how he did not get caught by V version of CCTV? Anna would never have such things in her conference room, the same with the Hatchery, if Fifth Column ever got their hands on such footage they could show the Humans what Anna is really up to!
Again I would like to say that the visual effects team did a marvellous job. The V Series technology and special effects were wonderful. It does not matter how many times I see a Mothership whether in a city skyline or in outer space, I cannot stop thinking how wonderful and real they look. The work is a perfect design implementation!
Erica and Hobbes getting it on seems to have gone down well with the fandom only a few seem opposed to the idea. I think it is a great pairing. Erica and Jack just do not go right together. Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch) is the best friend that you do not do anything with.
Now on to the best part: Lisa returns to Diana to inform her Ryan escaped. Diana tells Lisa there is one on the ship she trusts, and this person needed to know she is still alive… Marcus (Christopher Shyer) Bah! I knew it. In the V Series RPG I always said that Marcus was the one who helped Amy (My character’s Mother) to escape. And this also shows that my daughter has an amazing intuition. She said from day one that Marcus would be a goodie!
I have said so many times what I thought would happen, I guess I was on the right track here. Marcus should become an ally of Visitor Lisa (Laura Vandervoort). I think Marcus is the best Character in the show, and if the favorite show on many millions gets renewed for season three, then I would LOVE to see Mr. Christopher Shyer be listed as a main cast member! I am sure I have the rest of Team Marcus is on my side here! 😉
At the end of the show Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman) is the first of the tampered breeding boys to get infused with the DNA collected from the Live Aboard’s. Anna in a creepy way makes sure she is the one to inject him pretending this is to prepare his body for interstellar space travel.
I hope you enjoyed my views and theories. Thank you all for your continued support and praise. You all make the hard work worthwhile! 🙂
