When a Stargate<\/a> series announcement was made on November 19, 2025 by Amazon MGM Studios<\/a>, it confirmed approval of a continuation of one of the most beloved science fiction franchises of all time! Destined for their Prime Video<\/a> streaming service, millions of Stargate<\/a> fans worldwide rejoiced that their efforts over the past seventeen years since the last movie was released that supporting the franchise was more worth the wait. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gateworld<\/a>, the world leading Stargate fan site, has conducted a series of live program featuring Martin Gero<\/a>, Joseph Mallozzi<\/a> and Brad Wright<\/a> to share the fabulous news with everyone. Martin Gero would be the Executive Producer showrunner. Gero was flanked by respected Stargate<\/a> producer writers (Joe) Mallozzi, and Wright. Additionally, Roland Emmerich<\/a> and Dean Devlin<\/a>, who produced the original Stargate movie in 1994, joined the new series team as consulting producers!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
