Our grade for the third episode continues to be a Straight \u201cA\u201d for sheer entertainment value.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even more fun was realized this past Friday when the official SYFY Twitter account interacted with \u201cDay of the Dead\u201d admirers during \u201cThe Grey Mile\u201d, delighting the fans with retweet\u2019s and comments as the Zombie action unfolded on our screens!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The fun new science fiction thriller on SYFY in the United States and CTVSciFi in Canada continues to enthrall the viewers with its campy look and feel in a tribute to iconic George A. Romero, creator of the \u201cLiving Dead\u201d series of films.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDay of the Dead\u201d is a very enjoyable science fiction thriller series that features a large number of puns and comedic one liner\u2019s that make viewing the show each week a pleasure with its fast paced action and exciting sequences.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Day of the Dead” stars Keenan Tracey<\/a> as Cam McDermott, Daniel Doheny<\/a> as Luke Bowman, Natalie Malaika<\/a> as Lauren Howell, Morgan Holmstrom<\/a> as Sarah Blackwood, Kristy Dawn Dinsmore<\/a> as Amy, Miranda Frigon<\/a> as pistol packing Zombie hunter Mayor Paula Bowman, Mike Dopud<\/a> as Detective McDermott, Dejan Loyola<\/a> as Jai Fisher, Marci T. House<\/a> as Captain Pike, Kevin O’Grady<\/a> as Rhodes the corrupt corporate foreman at the fracking facility, Jay Brazeau<\/a> as mayoral candidate Pops Parker, Matty Finochio<\/a> as Bobby Hart, Trezzo Mahoro<\/a> as Trent, Christopher Russell<\/a> as the adulterous Trey Bowman, Caitlin Stryker<\/a> as Nicole, Trey\u2019s adulterous lover and Mayor Bowman\u2019s campaign manager, Lucia Walters<\/a> as Doctor Logan, and Stefanie von Pfetten<\/a> as Cindy who is coming up beginning in the fifth episode “Til the Dead Do Us Part”. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This week the series spotlight focus is on a superb guest star, Paula Shaw<\/a> as Mrs. French, who has appeared briefly in the first three episodes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In “The Grey Mile” episode, Mrs. French, a favorite patient of Jai, is front and center in the action as she sacrifices all to help save the fictional town of Mawinhaken, Pennsylvania from the Zombie Apocalypse by literally blasting a bunch of the foul creatures to smithereens!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDay Of The Dead\u201d was created by Jed Elinoff<\/a> and Scott Thomas<\/a>. The series features dynamic directing by entertainment industry veterans Steven Kostanski<\/a>, Jem Garrard<\/a>, and Jacquie Gould<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
